2009 St. Andrews Links Junior Ladies Open Tournament

Competitive program for young women under 23 as of January 1, 2009 and a USGA handicap not exceeding 18, USJT Family Member Program is available.

U.S. Junior Tours Golf Experience is an American based first class educational and athletic travel program for golfers ages 10-18 that provides worldwide experiences including professional instruction, international competition, and cultural activities. Golfers from all countries are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Tournament format:

Monday, August 3, practice round on Strathtyrum Course Tuesday, August 4, qualifying round on Strathtyrum Course

16 low scratch scores qualify for scratch match play on the Eden Course, Wednesday, August 5, and on the Old Course Thursday, August 6, and Friday, August 7, for the Golf Monthly Trophy and title of St. Andrews Links 2009 Junior Ladies Open Champion.

8 low handicap scores failing to qualify, compete in handicap match play on the Old Course for the Girls' Open Quaich on Thursday, August 6, and Friday, August 7.

Remaining non-qualifiers compete in a handicap Stableford competition on the Eden Course Wednesday, August 5.
