U.S. Junior Tours Golf Experience announces 2007 St. Andrews, Scotland Team

La Crosse, WI

M. Scott Ott, executive director of U.S. Junior Tours Golf Experience, has announced team members and itinerary for 2007 British Open Program in St. Andrews, Scotland July 17-26, 2007.

U.S. Junior Tours Golf Experience is a first class educational and athletic travel program for golfers ages 10-18 that provides worldwide experiences including professional instruction, international competition, and cultural activities.

Acceptance to the USJT program is based on athletic ability and the golfer's dedication to improvement, personality, integrity, and eagerness to travel and experience other countries and cultures.

2007 U.S. Junior Tours team members will train at St. Andrews Links Golf Academy and Practice Centre, play practice rounds on the Strathtyrum and Eden Courses - part of St. Andrews Links Trust, compete against Scottish junior golfers in three competitions, and attend the 2007 British Open in Carnoustie.

- Match play vs. juniors from Scotscraig Golf Club, 13th oldest golf club in the world and final qualifying course for the British Open
July 25, 2006, Wednesday
- Match play at Leven Links, a final pre-qualifying course during Open Championship years at St Andrews, vs. juniors from Leven Golfing Society, 11th oldest golf club in the world and Leven Thistle Golf Club
